Global Research Forum on Sustainable Production and Consumption (GRF)

The Global Research Forum on Sustainable Production and Consumption is comprised of a network of academics and professionals working in a diverse selection of fields.  GRF draws its membership from more than 25 countries around the world.  The membership brings a wealth of cross-sectorial and interdisciplinary experience and knowledge to the Forum, as well as being an inter-generational collaboration that connects more experienced researchers and practitioners with the next generation of SPAC professionals.

The Global Research Forum on Sustainable Production and Consumption was created by and for the community of researchers and practitioners engaged in research on the worldwide transition to  sustainable production and consumption systems.  GRF strives to develop and strengthen methods of fundamental and applied research to achieve a deeper understanding of the possibilities and barriers to systemic change.  Its ultimate goal is to enhance development and adoption of production and consumption policies, practices and systems which meet basic needs - especially of the poor and vulnerable - and provide prosperity, while conserving natural resources and protecting the environment.
