The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation is responsible for the content of the Like Nature website. In 2021, the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation will collaborate with the Center for Nature Guidance (CNV) on Like Nature within the framework of the Year of Outdoor Life. Like nature 2021 is implemented with support from the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.

The aim is to get more people to try outdoor life and to increase awareness of the right of public access and the values of outdoor life. The Year of Outdoor Life, with the campaign name "The air is free", is organized by the Swedish Outdoor Life with support from the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.  Around 150 different organizations and actors are involved in the initiative. During the Year of Outdoor recreation 2021 the goal is that people are willing and able to take a bigger part of Swedish nature. We want more people to do more outside, and that decision makers in school, employers and politicians make that happen. Outdoor recreation is good for the health, both physical and psychological. And the recreation part is what you make of it; activity or calmness, together with others or on your own. The nature can be your living room, kitchen, or bedroom. Your working space or classroom. So get outside and enjoy the Swedish nature – because the best part is that the air is free!

The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation is Sweden's largest environmental organization and pursues important nature and environmental issues locally, regionally, nationally and globally. The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation also works to promote learning for sustainable development, among other things by collaborating with a number of different actors and offering schools materials and methods for working with nature, the environment and sustainable development.

The Center for Nature Guidance (CNV) is a competence resource and a development hub for everyone that makes it easier for people to experience and develop their feeling for and knowledge of nature and the cultural landscape. CNV has a national mission and is located at the Department of City and Country at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, SLU, in Uppsala. CNV works to ensure that nature guides in Sweden gain better knowledge and be able to guide with professionalism.
