Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, Aruba

The Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, Aruba is currently certified Carbon Neutral and working towards Carbon Negative right now.  After following the 1992 Climate Conference in Rio, it was clear to me that I am not in the tourism business, I am in the Nature business and if we do not protect nature, we do not protect the one industry we all depend upon in Aruba.  Therefore, I began the journey at that time to look for solutions and operate sustainably and responsibly.  Green Globe was equally as interested in the 1992 conference and was formed as a result also.  We found each other and their certification process started our journey which has resulted in the success we realize today.
