The objective of the circular economy is to take advantage of the resources that are already in circulation, in other words, what is considered waste should be transformed into a resource to be integrated back into the production processes in order to generate as little waste as possible, unlike the linear economy, which talks about having one input of resources, one process, one use and one output as waste or rubbish. With this in mind, the event aimed to explain and raise awareness of the impacts of the textile industry and how to reduce them with the implementation of circular economy models in the country.
