I have been working in tourism development for over 25 years with a focus on culinary and agritourism.
As a co-founder of the Prince Edward County, Ontario Slow Food Convivium in 2006, I have been a long-time supporter and advocate for good, clean, and fair food. A number of programs I have been instrumental in developing during my career include the Culinary Tourism Alliance Feast On Certification program.
I recently completed a Master of Arts in Global Leadership with a focus on actioning the Sustainable Development Goals within our specific area of tourism development. I achieved my GSTC Sustainable Tourism Certification in the spring of 2022 and have been guiding our organization towards achieving the SDGs in collaboration with our industry partners.
