What should we know about labelling to make wise choices?

The non-profit organisation Ecological Union and the module of careful consumption “Tepertak” have launched a new course dedicated to ecolabelling. The aim of this project is to educate consumers concerning variety of labels, concerning differences between ecolabelling and greenwashing as well as concerning ways which can help to check the authenticity of labeling. The followers of the course are got a new email once a week.
Labelling helps people to make choices that promote sustainable consumption. But there are a lot of labels and it is complicated to navigate through them. The aim of this project is to educate consumers concerning variety of labels, concerning differences between ecolabelling and greenwashing as well as concerning ways which can help to check the authenticity of labeling. Provide information about sustainable consumption and ecolabels. Consumers will learn genuine ecolabelling that can truly contribute to make wise and responsible choices. After this course people will prefer to buy for instance the labelled goods with information on environmental impact of a product or material throughout its life cycle because such labelling identifies those products or services proven environmentally preferable. Any stakeholders can be involved in this project if they subscribe to the course. The followers of the course are got a new email once a week.
