This brief was prepared by Hanh Nguyen (Value Chain Development Consultant of the Sustainable Markets, Agribusiness and Rural Transformations Team, FAO) based on the training course “Introduction to sustainable food systems and value chains” developed and piloted under FAO Strategic Programme 4 (SP4).
