Note sur l’étude de vulnérabilité du secteur du tourisme marocain au changement climatique
This study analyses the vulnerability of the Moroccan tourism sector to climate change, including specific impacts of tourism and climate change on women. It further outlines technical and diversification adaptation possibilities.
The vulnerability study forms part of the project 'Advance SCP', and fed into the development of a NAMA for the tourism sector in Morocco (also available in the portfolio), which the Ministry of Tourism developed in collaboration with UNEP and UNDP. The vulnerability study was undertaken by Carbon 4 and TEC Conseil. The project 'Advance SCP' is part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI). The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) supports this initiative on the basis of a decision adopted by the German Bundestag.
