MINISTRY OF TOURISM OF THE STATE OF GUANAJUATO

Through our Sustainable Tourism Model, which is aimed to improve tourism effects on communities, we have been collaborating with GIZ since 2018, promoting actions to build capacities of tourism actors in terms of adaptation to climate change and encouraging private investment for the implementation of adaptation measures based on nature. We are consciuous about the dependency of tourism on environmental services and is our obligation to raise awareness about climate change among tourism actors and help them know how to join the fight against climate change through strategic alliances.
