Kamaishi DMC Ltd. fully supports the aims of the Glasgow Declaration and will contribute to halving carbon dioxide emissions in the tourism sector over the next ten years and achieving Net Zero Emissions by 2050. Kamaishi City has declared its aim to achieve Net Zero by 2050 and has already set out concrete action plans for Climate Change Countermeasures including other documents. By signing the Glasgow Declaration, we are seeking to further bolster our existing efforts towards these initiatives, and simultaneously raise public awareness amongst both local residents and visitors.
