Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism
The European Historic Thermal Towns Association (EHTTA) is certified as a Cultural Route of the Council of Europe. Each of the member towns of the route was created around natural thermal water sources which are sustainable natural resources, requiring protection for future generations.
We encourage the protection of the environment (both natural and cultural heritage) in a framework of responsibility and partnership between the public and private sectors.
We promote railway travel as domestic and intra-regional way of transportation to reduce emissions.
We aim to provide access for our members to information and knowledge management on climate action and sustainable development.
