CGH Earth Experience Hotels

CGH EARTH is a chain of hotels based in India. its business model is founded on sustainable and responsible tourism.
So far, company has already implemented following measures towards reduction of plastic pollution:
  • Plastic consumption is cut down to the minimum by using reusable cloth bags used as bin liners in guest rooms.
  • The carry bags provided are also cloth and paper.
  • Plastic packaging by supply vendors is prohibited, instead, they are required to package material in reused and returned containers/jars.
  • Festive decorations at all the hotels across the board are crafted from waste materials to up-cycled products.
  • More than 600,000 packaged plastic bottles have been replaced annually with sterilised glass bottles for drinking water across the group’s hotels, resorts, and wellness centre. This process was initialized in 2013.
  • Most of hotels operate with nearly zero plastic use including using reusable ceramic ware to keep the room bath amenities.
  • All wet and dry amenities in the rooms are plastic free, thereby avoiding 50,400 miniature plastic bottles.
