Badrallach Campsite, Cottage and Bothy

I purchased this small and remote campsite, cottage and bothy on the NW Cost of Scotland in 2016.My vision is to make the campsite as eco-friendly as possible. For a start we have installed PV panels, purchase 100% renewable energy, and use only eco-friendly cleaning products. We our currently renovating a barn into a cottage using sustainable architectural and building principles. We are also planning on replacing the gas boilers for hot water with high-efficiency electric and further PV panels. Future plans include a more pro-active element of education for visitors regarding how we have made the place as low impact as possible. We have initiated a reforestation project with native tress and will also be planting fruit trees and engaging in permaculture. We also run health and wellness and wilderness therapy workshops (the owner is a herbalist, wilderness therapist and stress-management coach).
