ASI Reisen is the leading adventure tour operator in the German speaking market. Since the company was founded in 1963 the core of our strategy is sustainability. Therefore we already measure the CO2 emissions of all our trips, try to reduce them (no domestic flights in itineraries, ride sharing for trips within Austria, Germany, projects to reduce single use plastics, etc,). All emissions which can not be reduced are 100% compensated, including flights. Also our headquarter, a new wooden building for 70 employees is carbon neutral, thanks to air heated pumps which are operated by solar panels. Our CEO Ambros Gasser is a member of "Leaders for Climate Action" and he is deeply committed to take action on climate change. As a company, but also as an individual.
