September MAC Meeting
The 3rd CI-CSP Multistakeholder Advisory Committee (MAC) Meeting 2022 took place on the 12th and 13th of September in Paris, France where MAC members gathered to discuss business and policy engagement to further improve sustainable consumption patterns.
Day 1 of the MAC meeting focussed on networking, community and innovation whereas Day 2 centered around consumer information and creating a future strategy for the Programme. The Meeting was successful in reaching decisions on key areas of Programme development like policy and business engagement.This was also supported by the MAC members' reinforcment of their commitment to the Guidelines around Product Sustainability Information while also promising to expand the scope of the Guidelines to reach into wider circles of business and policy. The MAC members in attendance were also global in its composition with Latin America, North America, Africa, Asia and Europe being represented in the meeting.
