A greener future: waste and waste reduction

Waste reduction is a set of methods and practices intended to reduce the amount of waste produced. Developing new sustainable materials from recovered waste resources, however, is also at the forefront of waste reduction. Whether it is recycling agriculture waste into compost, fertilizer or livestock feed, recycling textile waste into your latest “on-trend” article of clothing or even using and re-inventing recycled materials into building and construction materials, these are all practices of waste reduction and elements of a “circular economy”.

Industry collaboration and waste reduction.
