"Counting the True Cost: How understanding the real cost of food can improve nutrition for all" at the Tokyo Nutrition for Growth Summit

The event aims to discuss how a food systems approach, particularly True Cost and Value Accounting, can provide holistic assessments of the negative externalities and positive benefits of different food and nutrition interventions.

The Tokyo Nutrition for Growth Summit will provide a historic opportunity to transform the way the world tackles the global challenge of malnutrition. At the Summit, WWF-Germany will lead a side event on 9th December with the Global Alliance for the Future of Food, World Business Council for Sustainable Development, TMG Think Tank for Sustainability and UN Nutrition.
