Breakthrough Victoria Challenge Launch

The Breakthrough Victoria Challenge aims to catalyse new innovations, discover new IP, build the capability of local innovators and attract global talent. Our purpose is to find solutions to a problem that if commercialised, have the potential to make a real impact. This is the inaugural event for the Challenge, that focuses on our priority investment sectors including health & life sciences, clean economy, agri-food, digital technologies and advanced manufacturing. We will invest up to $10 million in innovative solutions. At this event, we will unveil a specific environmental issue that requires urgent industry attention. Breakthrough Victoria will call on submissions from the broader scientific and innovation community that we can help foster and commercialise as a scalable solution. This landmark event will be widely publicised, making a true difference to environmental outcomes across Australia.
