As Lead Research for the World Benchmarking Alliance’s Food and Agriculture Benchmark, my responsibilities cut across research for scoping, methodology development and analysis to stakeholder engagement. Together with colleagues, allies and a number of stakeholders, I have been developing a methodology to assess food and agriculture companies across the entire value chain on key topics underpinning the global food systems transformation agenda. The benchmark’s aim is to stimulate companies to apply sustainable business practices throughout their operations, and to use their influence to encourage their partners along the value chain to do the same.

With WBA, but also in previous positions at WBCSD and as a sustainability consultant at ERM, I have been working with a wide range of stakeholders, including NGO’s, companies, financial institutions and the public sector to accelerate sustainable business practices.
