Mallory Xinyu Zhan is a PhD Candidate and research associate affiliated with the Institute of Sociological Research and the Institute of Environmental Governance and Territorial Development at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. Her PhD research explores topics of sustainable consumption, ecological citizenship and well-being in the grassroots lifestyle movement of zero waste in Chinese cities. She also teaches courses related to sustainability and sustainable consumption at the university.
