Intern

I’m the co-founder & Program officer at We Do GREEN (www.wedogreenrw.org) - one of Africa's rising youth-led non-governmental organizations. Our team is on a mission to engage young people in responding to the climate crisis, leaving no one behind in the work for environmental conservation, biodiversity protection, and climate change mitigation. A significant amount of time is spent in Planning, Project Evaluation, and monitoring for tackling issues of environmental sustainability, renewable energy, clean water, and food security with underprivileged communities around Rwanda.

I’m serving in the one-year voluntary team at UN One Planet Network to Sustainable Lifestyles and Education program.

I participated in the Sustainable Lifestyles Actions Academy pilot project of Hot or Cool Institute and the United Nations-Environment Program which provided me with unmatched opportunities to learn of the best practices, approaches, and solutions for sustainable lifestyle at individual and systemic level.

I served at Sustainability Week Kigali (SWK) - A student-led and University-based initiative to promote best sustainable practices among the university community. The university experience has taught me to embody the core values of continuous learning and integrity which I employ in any workplace. I’m leveraging the skills that I have gained from University to tackle the most challenging issues in engineering and the environment.
