In line with the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, the Strategy for Sustainability Management in the UN System 2020-2030 (CEB/2019/3) as well as the SG Action Plan for integrating sustainable development practices into Secretariat-wide operations and facilities management (A/72/82), I am leading the development of Supply Chain initiatives and solutions to advance Sustainable Development Goals 6, 7, 12, and 13, which are related to clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, responsible consumption and production, and climate action, respectively.
