As an architect and biomimicry specialist, I work on integrating biomimicry into the built environment and in innovative start-up communities. Biomimicry is the conscious emulation of nature's genius in the human way of life and design. There's so much that through biomimicry, nature can teach us how to be resource efficient and erase the word "waste" from our vocabulary. Mature forest ecosystems inform us on how to create systems that strive through cooperation and shared objectives to achieve sustainable development goals and targets.
