Sustainable Development Goal 12: Building resilient value chains post Covid-19

The emergence of zoonotic diseases such as Covid-19 are closely related to the health of ecosystems, which underpin human health and well-being. Shifting to sustainable consumption and production (Sustainable Development Goal 12) addresses the key drivers of ecosystem disruption, biodiversity loss, resource depletion, and climate change. The need for this shift is also reflected in other targets in the 2030 Agenda.
