The essence of the project: Today, public procurement in Ukraine is a huge market, where 27,000 customers annually carry out over 1 million procedures worth UAH 700 billion. And only 0.5% of them pass using non-price criteria - indicators of efficiency, quality, environmental friendliness and innovation of a product or service. The solution is to develop a convenient and easy-to-use tool that will allow customers to make green purchases. This tool will be integrated with the ProZorro system and commercial offices. EXPECTED RESULTS Long-term savings will amount to UAH 14 billion. annually (after 2 years of operation of the designer). This will become a reality by increasing the proportion of sustainable procurement procedures to 5%, as well as by increasing competition and motivating businesses with quality and innovative products. For example, the use of non-price criteria for procurement of paper by public organizations alone will save 145,000 trees and save about 100 million UAH.
