A Strategic Environmental Assessment (hereinafter SEA) for the future Sustainable Tourism Development Strategy 2030 will be conducted in accordance with the EU Directive 2001/42/EC on the assessment of the effects of certain plans and programmes on the environment (hereinafter SEA Directive). Strategic Environmental Assessment is the process by which probable significant environmental impacts that may arise from the implementation of a strategy, plan or program are assessed. This procedure includes determining the content of the strategic study, preparing a strategic study and assessing the completeness and expertise of the strategic study. The SEA will assess the proposed Sustainable Tourism Development Strategy 2030 while considering all components of the environment.
