SDG Talk: Consumer Rights & the Sustainable Development Goals

At UNEA4 every afternoon a series of SDG TED-style talks will be held exploring the Sustainable Development Goals and how they interact with other global issues. Naomi Scott-Mearns of Consumers International and the Consumer Information Programme of the One Planet Network will be giving a talk on consumer rights and the SDGs on Thursday 14th March.
The objective of the SDG talk series is to raise awareness of the SDGs and their interaction with other global issues. The talks are designed to be fun and inspirational as well as informative. Each afternoon of UNEA4 a series of SDG talks will occur. The expected impact of the talks is to raise awareness and motivate people around the SDGs. The hope of the talk given by Naomi Scott-Mearns is to raise awareness of the issue of consumer rights and how they are behind many of the SDGs and ensuring consumer rights will allow achievement of Agenda 2030. Come and see the SDG talk on Thursday 14th March at 2pm.
