Human Rights And Public Procurement in Denmark

  • Published on January 9, 2020
From 2017-2019 the Danish Institute for Human Rights led a project on public procurement and human rights with local municipalities in Denmark. This project, funded by the Danish OECD National Contact Point, produced a guidance document (in Danish) for use by local municipalities.
- To work together with the municipalities to introduce human rights protections in several procurement processes. - To take lessons learnt from this process and include them in a guidance document which provides advice and guidance to public procurers and contract managers. Guidance has been made public and has been shared with public institutions and municipalities.
