Searious Business is an impact-driven company created in 2016 helping businesses to create a circular use of plastic with a competitive advantage, and help bring plastic pollution back to zero.
 
Global Tourism Plastics Initiative Signatory
The company developed Plastic Waste Free Tourism toolkits with different versions for hospitality businesses, cruiselines and tour operators and developed solutions to move away from single-use plastics in tourism sector, e.g. on Fiji, Vanuatu, Samoa, Saint Lucia, Antigua-Barbuda and Grenada.

Commitments:

In the framework of the Global Tourism Plastics Initiative, Searious Business commits to: 

Encouraging their affiliated organisations and businesses or partners to join the Global Tourism Plastics Initiative by pursuing their ongoing engagement with players in the tourism industry. 

Advising and guiding affiliated organisations and businesses or partners to better manage plastics in their operations through practices, criteria, standards and/or policies, and support them to implement their commitments to the Global Tourism Plastics Initiative when applicable through their ongoing engagement with players in the tourism industry. 

Communicating successes to affiliated organisations and businesses, partners, travellers and key local stakeholders through their ongoing engagement with players in the tourism industry.
