How can countries monitor progress towards more sustainable and inclusive economies? The Green Economy Progress Measurement Framework is a tool designed to enable countries to measure green economy progress across a period of time, and conduct cross-country comparison of national efforts to transition to greener, more inclusive development paths. This webinar explores how to integrate three environmental footprint indicators into the GEPM dashboard: greenhouse gas emissions, biodiversity and water.
The webinar will look closely at the issue of data availability and the appropriateness of databases used for calculating national environmental footprints. An interactive discussion will focus on best options for moving forward, including merging relevant databases such as those e.g. used by the Life Cycle Initiative, the One Planet network and the International Resource Panel (IRP).

The Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP) is a global community of organisations and experts dedicated to providing the policy, business and finance communities with knowledge, data, guidance and tools to transition to an inclusive green economy through the policy-focused Green Growth Knowledge Platform, Green Industry Platform and Green Finance Platform. The GGKP is led by the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and World Bank Group.
