It is with great pleasure that the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and Akatu Institute are organising a webinar on product life extension on July 29 at 1 p.m. CET. This session takes place within the framework of the Working group on Product Lifetime Extension of the One Planet Network Consumer Information Program, and it is supported by the French Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition.

The dialogue will focus on the role of policy interventions in extending the lifetime of products in the overall promotion of the circular economy, as well as on information tools put in place by different stakeholders. Various speakers (from academia, private sector, civil society, consumer association) will share their perspectives on the applicability and effectiveness of product lifetime extension policies in different sectors and local contexts. The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
