COVID 19 : Response Toolkit
The Transforming Tourism COVID-19 support toolkit aims to:
- Support the implementation of the national roadmaps and its key activities
- Leverage the engagement of tourism businesses (especially engaged hotels) and understand their needs in the recovery of COVID-19 and during their reopening
- Identify gaps and potential activities that are needed to meet the milestones of the project
- Identify relevant themes for online training and capacity buidling events that can be developed to support the sector
- Develop a relevant timeline to address the impacts of COVID-19 in the project country

Objective: This report illustrates how the tourism sector can recover responsibly, while both reducing the plastic footprint and ensuring sanitization.

6. Results of the survey on COVID-19 Impacts
Objective: This survey provides insights on recovery plans and COVID-19 impacts on the tourism sector. It has been conducted in May and June 2020 among 48 engaged businesses in the Transforming Tourism project and other tourism businesses/stakeholders.
