About my work

I have worked on the development of policies and planning tools for the tourism sector, with special emphasis on sustainability. My responsibilities also involved being the technical liaison for regional organizations such as the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Inter-American Development Bank. Currently, I am the Sustainable Tourism Advisor at the Association of Caribbean States, Organization that seeks to promote consultation, cooperation and concerted action to create benefits for its Members. My work involves contributing to plan and execute initiatives leading to the successful implementation or our Work Programme based on three priority areas: Sustainable Tourism Zone of the Greater Caribbean, Capacity Building and Community Based Tourism. I also assist ACS Countries in planning actions and identifying solutions to their challenges and collaborate with our partners to develop studies that lead to a better understanding of tourism in the Greater Caribbean.
