About my work

I´m a journalist and sociologist. Former editor of magazines on travels, in 2009, the day I heard a funny blind girl talking on the radio about her hard life in the big city, I looked for information about technologies that allow blind people to browse the Internet. I founded NATIVE Hotels, a NGO, with an accessible website in 6 languages. From 2010 we communicate without forget anyone. Today you can book a hotel also without seeing the screen, without talking to the computer and without touching the keyboard. We have also promoted physical solutions for hotels, like a vibrating alert wrist watch with sensors, or a Pack of Braille and Embossed Signage for blind customers. WTM London 2014 World Responsible Tourism Award Silver Winner, Trophée Maroc du Tourisme Responsable 2014, Finalist WTTC Tourism For Tomorrow Innovation Award 2017. One of the 6 projects highlighted by the Call For Action 10YFP Programme, Botswana 2017. We look for a global partner to expand our tools worldwide.
