About my work

I am a mechanical engineer with interdisciplinary training in sustainable energy technologies and low/zero carbon buildings technologies. I utilise mathematical modelling and simulation research methods to design and construct laboratory scale rigs for testing and models validation, scaling up to a commercial prototype, and field demonstration of sustainable energy systems. My Research Objective is to offer analytically holistic sustainable energy project and policy-relevant research work and research-driven teaching that make economics more relevant to the lived experiences of countries and populations across Africa, Europe and Asia. Moreover, to address simultaneously challenges of energy poverty and sustainable development in many overlapping areas in the built environment: buildings, agriculture, communities, infrastructure, energy-gender equality, business development in renewable energy, and energy efficiency technologies solutions.
