About my work

Bas de Leeuw is Managing Director of the World Resources Forum (WRF), based in Switzerland, elected full member of the Club of Rome and former UN Environment staff. WRF is known for its flagship conferences, its multistakeholder dialogue initiatives such as FORAM, CICERONE, CEWASTE, RE:SOURCING under the EC H2020 programme, SRI (Sustainable Recycling ISO guidelines) as well as for its capacity building activities on lifestyles and ICT, sustainable cities, e-waste, retailtrade, LCA and ecodesign. Its online "Resource Revolution Trainer" and "E-waste Challenge" MOOCs, targeted at business, were produced with the United Nations. Sustainable resources management has several links and synergies to achieve with SCP, our platform and expertise therefore is open and very well placed for connecting the dots, strengthening the networks and enhancing visibility.
