The construction sector generates substantial amount of waste from the process of construction and demolition (C&D) of buildings and infrastructure, which when processed can be used as a raw material for construction. The report attempts to present a snapshot of the status of C&D waste generation and management in 10 surveyed cities across India, establish scenario based projections of C&D waste in India, and present technical and economic feasibility of products made with C&D waste.
