For the Sustainable Public Procurement Programme this committee is an excellent occasion for identifying and taking forward new streams of collaborative work and joint initiatives in the area of sustainable procurement. This form of collaboration is critical to bringing perspectives from different geographies and sectors into one conversation that can help us achieve the significant impact the world needs: shifting the focus of procurement from cost compliance to value creation and build evidence, develop methodologies, raise the global political profile for the topic and promote good practices on sustainable procurement.

We would like to thank all organisations that expressed interest in joining the MAC of the programme!
