One Planet – Sustainable Tourism Programme Annual Magazine 2017/2018
In this third annual edition, the One Planet - Sustainable Tourism Programme magazine presents the highlights of the network’s activities during 2017-2018. Featuring the new strategy 2018-2022 “One Plan for One Planet”, this publication spotlights also the four principle tenets of the Kasane Call to Action on Sustainable Tourism: “#TheTourismWeWant”: Lead, Innovate, Finance, Empower (“LIFE”) and presents world-leading achievements on the ground under each action lever.
Furthermore this year’s edition pays special attention to the advances in leading-edge innovations championing circular economy and innovative practices and scaling up sustainable consumption and production patterns in the tourism sector, with the One Planet network being the official implementation mechanism of SDG12 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
