This case study forms part of the project ‘Testing the Applicability of the Guidelines for Providing Product Sustainability Information'. The aim is to share a practical application of the Guidelines’ principles by companies and standard-setting organizations.

This case study showcases how TÜV Rheinland has applied the Guidelines' principles to Green Product Mark, a voluntary, multiple criteria-based environmental labelling programme that differentiates environmentally preferable products from others in a given product category.
