Building Resilient Societies after the COVID-19 Pandemic

  • Published on June 3, 2020
The International Resource Panel (IRP) has just produced the paper entitled “Building Resilient Societies after the COVID-19 Pandemic”. This document provides policy recommendations drawn from IRP scientific assessments to drive a resource smart recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, generating socio-economic value while safeguarding the environment. This paper offers most specifically to rethink the way we generate wealth, the way we move and live and the way we eat through various sectors addressed in previous IRP reports (food, cities, circular economy, buildings & construction, mobility, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, metals and minerals).
