Global Tourism Plastics Initiative Signatory
Wilderness Patagonia’s goal is to continue strengthening work in reducing the use of plastics until its definitive elimination throughout their operations.

In the framework of the Global Tourism Plastics Initiative, Wilderness Patagonia commits to:

  • Training collaborators on reduction techniques in the use of plastics.  
  • Training suppliers to reduce the use of single-use plastics. 
  • Communicate successes to partners, suppliers, travellers and key local stakeholders using social networks, electronic newsletters and contacts in national organizations representing the sector to sensitize other operations. 
Our purpose as a company is to inspire adventure by engaging travelers with the conservation and development of Patagonia. We are signatories of the global pact for the reduction of plastics, we are BCorp and founding members of the Argentine Association of Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism.
Sustaining the environment is not an option for us, it is the axis of our work and the enjoyment of our stakeholders. Being a signatory of the Glasgow Declaration is taking another step in our commitment to the planet and its life.
