Juventud Unida en Acción (United Youth in Action)
Juventud Unida en Acción (United Youth in Action) or JUENA for its acronym in Spanish, is a non-profit Civil Association, which operates and carries out work since 2011 but has been legally registered on December 26, 2013 and thus acquiring full legal personality .
In the same sense, at the international level, the legal figure of JUENA is that of a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). Our main headquarters is located in Venezuela, but we have focal points in other countries (Colombia, Brazil, Spain, Chile), thus achieving our work in other parts of the world, expanding the results of our projects.
As an organization we create, develop and evaluate projects in the areas of: Human Rights, Democracy, Citizenship, Youth Leadership, Environment, Gender Equality, Research, Sustainable Consumption and Production, Science Technology and Innovation, Social Work, among others, all attached to the United Nations Charter, adopting the campaigns of the United Nations and Organization of American States. Our projects are currently directly linked to the Sustainable Development Goals.
Our Vision: JUENA is projected as an organization that contributes to global change, promotion of Human Rights, democracy, freedom, innovation and research, and that implies inclusion, tolerance, fair and equitable human development and environmentally sustainable.
Our Mission: Our mission to train, train and empower young people in their leading role in society so that they detect problems that relate to society and serve as agents of change, providing viable, effective and efficient solutions.
