As the world's largest volunteer travel organization, International Volunteer HQ has always believed that volunteering abroad needs to go beyond sustainable tourism by using travel to regenerate and rebuild the world we live in. Since 2007, IVHQ has been bringing volunteers together to protect the environment, regenerate threatened ecosystems, and fight climate change. We have been a carbon neutral business since 2019, and we were the first global volunteering organization to declare a Climate Emergency. We strongly support the Glasgow Declaration.
