Health and Environment Justice Support (HEJSupport)

Health and Environment Justice Support (HEJSupport) is an international organization aimed to achieve a healthy environment and environmental justice for people. HEJSupport works at the global, regional and national policy level and directly with communities affected by toxic chemicals and waste. The organization focuses on environmental policy development, chemicals in products, identification of toxic hotspots, endocrine-disrupting chemicals, and associated health effects. HEJSupport works in the implementation of the  2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Goal 12 on sustainable consumption and production patterns. It primarily focuses on cleaner production, safer alternatives to chemicals of concern, informed substitution of toxic substances, and affordable, sustainable technologies to support sound chemicals and waste management in developing countries and countries in transition.
