GUAVA 2030 Sustainable Amenities Goals are the following:  

  • 50% carbon emission reduction through in-country or in-territory manufacturing sites  

  • 90% plastics reduction through design innovation and material substitution 

  • 50% waste reduction per property served through product innovation and packaging optimization

In the framework of the Global Tourism Plastics Initiative, GUAVA Amenities commits to:

  • Eliminating problematic or unnecessary plastic packaging / single-portion or single-serving packaging / plastic items and introduceing reusable solutions from their bathrooms to replace these by 2025.

  • Taking action to increase the amount of recycled content across all plastic packaging and items used by 2025.

  • Collaborating with others and investing in collection and segregation of recyclable and organic materials in their facilities to help increase recycling and composting rates in practice.
