Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism
The spectacular but fragile Himalayas are at the frontlines of climate change. They are also one of the most highly visited destinations across the world. We pledge to work towards reducing the carbon footprint of travellers visiting and communities residing in the Spiti Valley (a high altitude cold desert in the high Himalayas) and help communities adapt to the impacts of climate change.
