Dorset Climate Action Network

Dorset CAN has a great deal of tourism in this area. Many hotels, tourists and a local airport. There is a network of local train and bus links, but largely the tourism brought to the area - Bournemouth, Lulworth, Swanage and Weymouth, Lyme Regis and Poole - all have a great impact on our carbon footprint as a county. We want to work with local businesses and transport hubs as well as local tourism organisations in order to achieve the best we can to encourage our residents and visitors to act responsibly; making good choices and informed decisions about their travel arrangements.
