Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism
The Cairngorms National Park Authority are proud to sign the Declaration and commit to taking purposeful action to reduce their carbon emissions as per the advice from The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to cut global carbon emissions to 55% below 2017 levels by 2030. We are pleased to be one of first destinations in Scotland to sign up to the initiative. We have worked with our partner organizations in the destination and with local businesses and we now have plans at an advanced stage of preparation which will ensure that we make good progress towards these goals over the next few years.
