Butterfield & Robinson
Role in programme(s):
Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism
Butterfield & Robinson is committed to responsible, sustainable and ethical tourism. Our commitment is operationalised through our Slow Travel Sustainability Plan, guided by Bioregional’s One Planet Living Sustainability Framework. Our Sustainability Plan acknowledges the urgency of climate action: to develop and adopt a climate action plan: measure, manage and address energy use and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, thereby reducing our carbon footprint. Butterfield & Robinson joins the global tourism community in committing to accelerate climate action in tourism. As signatory to the Glasgow Declaration we commit to deliver plans aligned with the identified pathways to cut tourism emissions in half over the next decade and reach Net Zero emissions as soon as possible before 2050.
